Lake Hodoš lies in the far east of Prekmurje, near the village of Hodoš, right by the Hungarian border. It was created as a reservoir, and today it serves as an important habitat for many birds, fish, and amphibians. Surrounded by meadows, forests, and reed beds, it’s a peaceful spot for walks and birdwatching.
