\/>\n\t\t\t<\/svg>\n\t\t<\/button><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sestr\u0161ko Lake, also known as the Medvedce Reservoir, lies in the heart of the Drava Plain, about 10 km southeast of Ptuj. It\u2019s a preserved piece of nature in the middle of farmland, often called a \u201cbird paradise\u201d by locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The eastern part of the lake is used for fish farming, while the western side is covered with wetlands, reeds, and cattails, hiding smaller water surfaces. Despite being man-made, the reservoir has developed an impressive ecosystem: 10 species of amphibians, 49 species of dragonflies, and over 200 bird species can be found here.
